Catch Up!04/16/2008 Hey everybody! Its been a busy year and its only getting busier. Quick review, the sketch show
was a huge success and even had an extended run! I hope you were able to see it. I attended AFI's Lifetime Acheivement Award
Ceremony for Al Pacino and even walked the Red Carpet.
Check out IMDB for photos! I also filmed a commerical back east
and am continuing to meet some great people here in LA. We Used to Live in Kansas01/12/2007 After the longest rehearsals ever, tonight we opened 'Sketch on the Rocks!' Ok, so we did start in October and we had to write the show, and the holidays, and people dropped due to deaths and some just disappeared. (If anyone finds them please call, we're worried and we'd like our CD's back.) The show is Friday's @ the Second Stage in Anaheim, CA. (Near Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm) for directions check out www.berubians.com. Its funny, guaranteed! (Seriously!) The Rover4/29/2006 Wow its been almost three months since since I've landed in LA and
since then, I've met with a couple casting directors and producers, got
a ticket for holding up traffic (when I couldn't move my car because of
the car in front of me!?@#!), met cousin Oliver from the Brady-Bunch,
Seen the movie BRICK twice (go see it its awesome!), was hired for a job and
never got called for work, and more... And if my family is reading this, I am still alive and well. :) LA Baby!2/2/2006 Ok, so I'm a bit behind in posting news, but I've been busy. Thats right. Since my last post, I completed several industrials including the companies USPS, Astra Zeneca, and Booze Allen Hamiliton. On a more fun note, I was Kiefer Sutherland's Stand-In on the Sentinel! That was awesome. So for those of you who are playing the six degrees of seperation with me, you can now add the entire cast of the Sentinel, which includes Michael Douglas... I can't make any easier for you guys. :) I'm now living in LA! However, I just arrived last week, so I'll keep you posted as events unfold. I’m still alive!6/9/2005 Wow its been 4 months since my last post! Well, here is an update since then. In March I got new headshots taken by Joe Henson. A sample is in the Photo Gallery. This past spring I was put on tape for a few pilots and I managed to stay afloat with some local commercial work including a spot for Baltimore Community College and the MD Lottery. You can check out the MD Lottery spot here. I’m not sure how much longer they will keep the spot on the web, so check it out while you still can. Update.2/3/2005 Phew! This past month has been wonderful! The Ruby Tuesday commercial is on air so keep a look out for it! Tomorrow I have a call back for a Comcast industrial and I’m on first refusal for another industrial next week. I’ll keep you posted… ;) I’ve also finally added a bio page. Its a work in progress, but long over due. I have updated the contacts page and taken down the guestbook site due to spam and hackers. I’ll get a new guestbook up in the future. Yo He Regresado!1/19/2005 Phew! I’m back. London/England was awesome! I met some wonderful people, had a great time and hope to hear from everyone there soon. I’ll be back. As soon as I landed home, I had an audition for a Ruby Tuesday national commercial and I booked it! Two weeks later, I booked an industrial for Phillip Morris. I need to travel more often… London Baby!11/22/2004 Well, I lost my owen hair and I am back to my short hair. Its been slow this fall. I was put on tape for 2 Pilots and had a nervous audition for Sheer Madness. I seem to get nervous 1 out of every 10 auditions. Weird, huh? O-well. I off to LONDON for two weeks to see the sights, meet some people and to get my pictures out! Wish me Luck! Its Not You, Its Your Head10/24/2004 Hello everyone! I have finally added the photos page; which contains pictures of Video Stills from Projects, Promotional Stills, and some fun stuff on and off set. http://www.richiering.com/pics.htm Enjoy! Since my last post, I have had a few auditions, including one based entirely on the look of the back of my head. (!@#?) I didn’t get that one. I understand the industry is picky at times, but damn, who would have thought I have to compete against my own head. . .Tough times. Overall it’s been slow a slow summer. I was called back for the "Mr. Roberts" Audition on the 16th of Oct., but I think I might have been a bit too over the top. If anything comes of it, I’ll let you know. Mr. Roberts and The Murder Game8/21/2004 Well, the audition went well for Mr. Roberts. I have been put on hold for the production, but I am not booked as of yet. Still very exciting for me. I also audition recently for an indie horror film tentatively titled The Murder Game and I was invited to the call back. However, I had to decline the offer. After many emails and talks, the producers are going keep the project non-union and not sign a SAG Low-Budget or SAG Experimental agreement despite my efforts. New Site Layout!7/31/2004 Hey everybody! Today I launched the new site layout. In pieces I know, but I will have the completed site up shortly. Sorry for any dead links. I also auditioned for Mr. Roberts today at the Kennedy Center so lets keep our fingers crossed!
